WHO WE ARE

Born of a desire to create attainable luxury for people around the world, our studio is on a journey of making considerate clothing for those who appreciate everyday decadence. Combining Southeast Asian sensibilities with luxury Italian construction techniques, A Long Time Coming is inspired by the adventures of the contemporary global citizen.

 MANIFESTO

Reimagining masculine silhouettes with a touch of edgy romanticism, our pieces inspire opulent sensibilities while being extravagantly comfortable. These rare, seasonless items are designed for longevity with their craftsmanship. We focus on slow craft as an antidote to the frenetic pace of today.

With small-batch production and concentrated drops throughout the year, ALTC does not adhere to the traditional fashion calendar and refrains from overproduction in both manufacturing quantities and available designs. We believe that less is more, and to reuse an item until its death is one of the most sustainable ways of living.  

HOW ARE OUR CLOTHES MADE?

We design and prototype each garment from the beginning in Singapore, using the sartorial knowledge that we’ve gained in Italy. After our sampling is confirmed, our trusted family-run factory produce our garments according to our specifications and we finish them back in our workshop.

Every piece is carefully inspected during the finishing process to ensure that it meets the quality standards of our brand. The items labelled as “ARTISAN” are made individually in our studio and are unique pieces that will not be reproduced past its available period.
